MAGIC + ILLUSION
Mystique is truly a world-class production available to see at Blackpool's Pleasure Beach. It's clever blend of magic, dancing, comedy and singing makes this a must see show for all ages. This year (2004), sees the replacement of Wayne Daniels (a.k.a. Tom Bright) who despite a run of about 13 years, was always worth watching. But to be honest, his material didn't change much, however, he will be missed, (especially as he used one of the 'Bunnies' in a couple of his acts). It does look like it was a last minute decision to replace him as the promotional material still has his picture, although the Programme doesn't. His replacement, Phil Walker, despite my apprehensiveness, was actually very funny. 2003, but unfortunately saw the replacement of the marvelous singer Nikita Scott Johns, to whom I wish all the best wherever she is now performing. The show has now been running for many years and is current hosted in the Horseshoe suite at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach. And basically, I'd highly recommend going to see this if you're spending a night in Blackpool. Unfortunately, for some reason, they do not produce a CD containing soundtracks to this great show. However, after much research, I have managed to identify some of the music used.
